IMO Special forces memorial wall for the fallen

For veterans by veterans

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.

Fort Bragg unveiled a redesigned memorial wall to honor special operations soldiers Thursday afternoon.

And the names of 35 soldiers killed during the past year in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Philippines were added to the wall.

The wall now has a total of 1,113 names, including soldiers from the Vietnam War.

Hundreds of family members, friends, and soldiers attended the unveiling Thursday.

"Know that they eagerly sought our nation's most difficult missions against our most dangerous enemies. Know that they willingly endured hardship and danger and at the end sacrificed all for us," said Lt. Gen. John F. Mulholland, the commanding general of U.S. Army Special Operations Command. "To them, their example, and their memory, we humbly dedicate this memorial."

Donations of about $350,000 paid for the new wall.
